Suez Canal Transit Dues as of 1/5/2014 Hitherto Today 05/24/2021

The Suez Canal Authority announces that the transit dues for the year 2012 will be as shown in table below as per circular 6 / 2011. This circular takes effect as of March 1st 2012. See table of transit dues below.

-Ballast chemical / oil tankers are to be charged at the same rate of ballast oil tankers . 
-Loaded combined carriers are to be charged according to the kind of cargo. In case of carrying more than one type of cargo such carriers are to be charged at the rate of petroleum products tankers
-Ballast combined carriers are to be charged at the rate of ballast dry bulk carriers 
-The currencies accepted for the payment of transit dues are : 
1. U.S Dollar 
2. Sterling Pound 
3. Euro 
4. Japanese Yen (JPY) 
5. Canadian Dollar(CAD) 
6. Swedish Krona (SEK) 
7. Danish Krone(DKK) 
8. Norwegian Krone (NOK) 

*   If in ballast, combined carriers are to be charged at the same rate of Ballast Dry bulk carriers.
**  If in ballast, chemical / oil tankers are to be charged at the same rate of Ballast Oil Tankers.

*** Loaded combined carriers are to be charged according to the kind of cargo. In case of carrying more than one type of cargo such carriers are to be charged at the rate of petroleum products tankers.
